Accessibility
Accessibility statement
Tataam is made so that photographers and their clients can use it whatever their abilities: with a screen reader, with the keyboard only, with larger text, on a phone or on a computer. We aim to meet the international accessibility guidelines WCAG 2.1 at level AA, which the Israeli standard IS 5568 is based on.
Last checked: 1 November 2026.
What we've done
- Every page works with the keyboard alone, clearly shows where you are, and has a “Skip to content” link.
- Every form field has a name that screen readers read out, and error messages are announced.
- Pictures that carry meaning have a written description; decorative ones are skipped by screen readers. In galleries, each photo is read out with its number, for example “Photo 3 of 17”.
- Text and buttons have enough contrast with their background.
- Windows that open over the page (a photo, the gallery code box, the help chat) close with the Esc key, and you go back to where you were.
- When your phone or computer is set to reduce motion, the animations are calmer.
- Galleries are available in English, Hebrew (right to left) and French.
- Pages fit phones and tablets without scrolling sideways, also when text is enlarged, and buttons are big enough to tap.
What isn't perfect yet
- The photos in a gallery have no written description of what's in them (an event can have thousands of photos). Each photo is read out with its number. If you need help finding or downloading photos, write to us or to your photographer.
- The album design studio (for photographers) is made mainly for dragging with a mouse or a finger. Many of its actions also work from the keyboard, but not all of them yet.
- Find me (face search) needs you to tap a face or take a selfie. All the same photos can also be found by scrolling through the gallery.
- Each photographer can choose their own colour for their galleries. If a gallery is hard to read, please tell us.
